Data Visualization: Think beyond the Bar graph (Session 1)
Data analytics are powerful, but only if you can communicate them.
How can you use charts, graphs and design elements to explain trends? How to present information in way that is easy to comprehend and intuitive to navigate?
Join us for a two-part workshop session to understand the theory of data visualization and examine what makes for good visualization:
•Session 1- May 3rd, 6.30pm - 7.30pm
Cover the theory and principles of proper data visualization techniques.
•Session 2- May 10th, 6.30pm - 7.30pm
Take a hands-on deep dive into data visualization from real data sets.
Conducted by David Conant, Ph.D. candidate at UCSF (https://www.linkedin.com/in/david-conant-25a96a119/), this workshop series will be a great opportunity for beginners and experts alike to learn how to visualize complex data sets and present them effectively to the larger community!
