  • Jen Greenier, PhD

  • Dr. Jen Greenier serves as the Associate Director of Workforce Development in the Research Education and Career Development program at the Clinical and Translational Science Center. Jen is the Director of the FUTURE Program and has nurtured the growth of the program from its inception to the robust program it is today.  Jen holds a PhD in Genetics from UC Davis, has postdoctoral experience in industry, and years of experience in academic administration and workforce development. Jen is passionate about empowering PhD students and postdoctoral scholars to make informed life decisions by obtaining and utilizing the tools necessary for successful career exploration and career transitions.

  • Millie Copara, PhD

  • Dr. Millie Copara leads the partner development component of the FUTURE program, and will also lead our program effort to implement diversity and inclusion activities and practices.  Millie has a PhD in Neuroscience from UC Davis, and broad experience in promoting and supporting diversity in graduate STEM education.

  • Stacy Hayashi, MEd

  • Stacy Hayashi is an Academic Management Officer for the Clinical and Translational Science Center.  Among many roles, Stacy serves as Program Manager for FUTURE which entails data collection and management, administering surveys and longitudinal tracking of participants. Stacy has been with UC Davis both as a student and staff for over 20 years and is passionate about education and wellness.

  • Daniel Moglen, PhD

  • Dr. Daniel Moglen is the Education and Training Specialist for the FUTURE Career Exploration program in which he facilitates the Career Exploration course and oversees the career mentoring program. Daniel has a PhD in Linguistics from UC Davis, and completed his BA in Linguistics from UC Berkeley.  He previously worked as a Senior Career Advisor for graduate students and postdocs at the UC Davis Internship and Career Center. Daniel is passionate about helping PhD students and PostDocs understand the strength of their doctoral training as they transition from academia to a wide variety of careers.

  • Rachel Reeves, PhD

  • Dr. Rachel Reeves leads participant engagement and evaluation for the FUTURE program. Rachel previously managed the UC Davis Mellon Public Scholars Program, placing PhD researchers in consulting roles with large non-profits and state agencies. During her History PhD program, she wrote policy papers for the UC Davis Center for Poverty Research, consulted for Congressman John Garamendi’s Rural Grants Initiative, and served under State Senator Lois Wolk’s legislative health consultant on the 2015 End of Life Options Act. In her research on social mobility she held fellowships with Yale, UCLA, and the University of London’s School of Advanced Study. Rachel’s own experience in career exploration motivates her to make PhD-level professional development accessible, equitable, and effective.  She is proud to extend the impact of research at UC Davis through the successful and broad career outcomes of its researchers.
