Bringing students and industry together

  • at frequent field trips to visit seed industry members in the region,
  • at the monthly networking events, students present their research posters;
  • every month, at the networking event, one of the attending students is
  • selected and gets:
  • a shadowing experience with an industry researcher,
  • dinner with a seed industry research executive and HR manager;
  • several internships offered every year.
  • We also offer career development workshops to enhance the interaction.

Women In Bio Start-Up Pitch Challenge

June 14, 5:30pm to 8:00pm

Women In Bio-Southern California invites women in the life sciences to enter the “Start-up Pitch Challenge” to be held June 14, 2016, at Johnson & Johnson Innovation, JLABS. Finalists will pitch their businesses to a panel of judges and a winner will be chosen. The winner will be announced at the event and will receive various prizes.
